Coaching
Coaching is available at the club for individuals and groups. All players can improve their squash with good coaching and practice. Whether it's technical, tactical, physical or psychological a good coach can identify the areas of your game that can take your squash to the next level. Our coaches here at Willoughby Squash Club will assist you in every aspect of your game to help you reach your goals.
Coaching Staff


Dean Landy
Dean has been the club pro since 2005 and has introduced many new and exciting ideas to the club. Dean has a distinguished coaching pedigree and background. He has coached the Swiss National Team, and is currently the Fijian National Coach. Dean was also the Head Coach for NSW Squash for many years and has had a hand in the development of many past and current champions. Dean has led the Australian Junior teams to many world championships all over the world. He is now very much focused at the club level, and working hard to improve player standards at Willoughby squash club. Contact the club on 9958 1399 for bookings.


Pete Aitken
Pete has been involved in coaching at the club since he was 15. Pete is a fully accredited Level 1 coach and is currently completing his level 2 qualification. Pete is currently playing in the Sydney 1 competition. Pete is a coach of the Sydney Squash Academy which is involved in the training of elite local and international players. Pete's experience includes many tours as a coach for representative teams and squads both domestically and overseas. Pete is available for coaching between 9-7 mon to Friday and sat between 11-3pm. Steve Stirling (Stirlo)
Steve is an accredited Level 1 coach who specialises in junior and beginner coaching. Steve is an A grade squash player who enjoys teaching and helping new players learn and enjoy the game of squash. Steve is available on weekends and selected times during the week.
